I disagree and refuse. KID A is an unprecedented album, is definitely one of the highest points of Radiohead… And here I’m not seeing a high point, I think we need to digest it more to understand at what point is Coldplay.

Coldplay just makes the songs over and over again, they’re like a less angry version of Linkin Park, tear jerkers for lonely teens, and even after a 15 year career their albums all sound identical. Everything Coldplay has done sounds like it was all recorded on the same weekend and just slowly released like clockwork by whatever corporation owns it. Pitchfork will definitely review this on a Friday so the poor indie kids have to see it all weekend.

wow, what a bunch of hipster too cool for school assholes. most of you haven’t listened to it. the rest go in with some preconceived notion of cool that is just pathetic. and radiohead, while a very good band, are not god. and overrated. coldplay are not trying to be radiohead. that is just some lame meme that has been going around for too long. they are just a band that is making music that is not too threatening, at times very good and at times not at all. get off your high fucking horses and get a life.
