  1. No October 3, 2012

Not awesome. Was expecting next level shit.

    • No October 3, 2012

      But thanks, Nodata.

    • diy October 3, 2012

Give it a few listens, there are definitely some next level moments. Quite a few of them actually. Serious AOTY contender in my book.

      • nick October 4, 2012

        aoty contender for sure

    • yohoho October 3, 2012

      Get better with every listen.

    • Hårmonious Musclemån October 3, 2012

Their last album was so fracking good that I am sad to hear someone say it is not next level, or, I assume, as good.
I surly hope you are wrong. I have been really looking forward to it.
Tell you what, I will determine what is “next level” and what is not.

  2. Diego October 3, 2012

  3. Magical Mystery October 3, 2012

Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.

  4. exodus923 October 3, 2012

    bonus please!

  5. who October 3, 2012

  6. francastique October 3, 2012

    very good indeed

  7. gustribs October 3, 2012

    how’s this rip version?

  8. Flounder October 3, 2012

    Mind Mischief is fucking dope!

  9. dude October 3, 2012

    next level bullshit

  10. nick October 4, 2012

AotY easily for me, and prior to this release, I didn’t even care for them all that much.

  11. Yan October 4, 2012

Looks like The Beatles Abbey Road or Pink Floyd Obscured by Clouds, but in 2012 and without acid.

    • Hårmonious Musclemån October 4, 2012

      Maybe without acid for YOU.
I have determined that this is indeed “next level” for the genre.
This may not be immediately apparent to the un-graced ear due to the fact that they have assumed previous sounds, (say, The Beatles), into themselves and redistributed those sounds on the correlating astral planes.

  12. scientologist October 4, 2012

The whole album is next level shit…also totally agree this is top 5 of 2012 for sure.

  13. Bubz October 5, 2012

  14. Dirty Dave October 5, 2012

    Y’all must be entertained easily.

Next level? Hardly. Genre defining? Nope. Mind blowing? I don’t think I would ever use those words to describe it. Top 5? Depends on your taste and influences – if you’re a Pitchfork reader, probably. A redistribution of sounds on correlating astral planes? What the fuck does that even mean, really?

    • monochromicorn October 6, 2012

Don’t act all innocent like you never got gritty on the astral planes and shit. You ARE Dirty Dave, are you not?

  15. Red October 5, 2012

Ugh. I love when people question reviews, like we should listen to the same albums as you & only agree with your music taste. Take these reviews lightly & understand that even YOUR most loved album, someone else out there thinks is absolute garbage. Kinda the Same reason we dont all drive the same cars & wear the same clothes, get it DD?

    • esteban colberto October 5, 2012

      cool story faggot

      • Red October 8, 2012

        Thanks sweetheart

  16. David October 5, 2012

Albom of the Year. I totally agree.

  17. kidfortoday October 6, 2012

This band is incredible & I’d love to see them live. But I liked Innerspeaker more. Maybe I’ll change my mind with further listens. I do hope for more remix EP’s of some of these new songs, they’re some great ones. Tame impala = good biltong
