Not awesome. Was expecting next level shit.
But thanks, Nodata.
Give it a few listens, there are definitely some next level moments. Quite a few of them actually. Serious AOTY contender in my book.
aoty contender for sure
Get better with every listen.
Their last album was so fracking good that I am sad to hear someone say it is not next level, or, I assume, as good.
I surly hope you are wrong. I have been really looking forward to it.
Tell you what, I will determine what is “next level” and what is not.
HE IS WRONG, THIS ALBUM IS TOP 5 2012, EASY
Thanks.
Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
bonus please!
AOTY.
This also http://www.residentadvisor.net/review-view.aspx?id=10529
very good indeed
how’s this rip version?
Mind Mischief is fucking dope!
next level bullshit
AotY easily for me, and prior to this release, I didn’t even care for them all that much.
Looks like The Beatles Abbey Road or Pink Floyd Obscured by Clouds, but in 2012 and without acid.
Maybe without acid for YOU.
I have determined that this is indeed “next level” for the genre.
This may not be immediately apparent to the un-graced ear due to the fact that they have assumed previous sounds, (say, The Beatles), into themselves and redistributed those sounds on the correlating astral planes.
The whole album is next level shit…also totally agree this is top 5 of 2012 for sure.
MIND BLOWING
Y’all must be entertained easily.
Next level? Hardly. Genre defining? Nope. Mind blowing? I don’t think I would ever use those words to describe it. Top 5? Depends on your taste and influences – if you’re a Pitchfork reader, probably. A redistribution of sounds on correlating astral planes? What the fuck does that even mean, really?
Don’t act all innocent like you never got gritty on the astral planes and shit. You ARE Dirty Dave, are you not?
Ugh. I love when people question reviews, like we should listen to the same albums as you & only agree with your music taste. Take these reviews lightly & understand that even YOUR most loved album, someone else out there thinks is absolute garbage. Kinda the Same reason we dont all drive the same cars & wear the same clothes, get it DD?
cool story faggot
Thanks sweetheart
Albom of the Year. I totally agree.
This band is incredible & I’d love to see them live. But I liked Innerspeaker more. Maybe I’ll change my mind with further listens. I do hope for more remix EP’s of some of these new songs, they’re some great ones. Tame impala = good biltong
