This is some real nice stuff here. Accessible, yet not to commercial like James Blake. Some tracks were just ok…but overall very cool indeed.

i too pity the fact that james blake is played on popular (M)TV stations and in shops, but the fact that many people seem to like his music does not necessarily make the music commercial… it just makes your good taste in music less special.

I just like to say “James Blake” to see what kind of response it whips up. I love his EP’s but the album he put out is quite bad. It’s like the same track over and over, it actually makes me want to rip my eyeballs out.
Not a bad album, but the mastering sounds really ‘trebble’y’ and harsh though. gives me a headache after 20 mins listening. not good.
Since you all have brought up James Blake I don’t understand the hype with his new album…. it sounded like crap to me and I tend to like a lot of stuff that’s popular with the hipster crowds.
