The 80s called and they want this record back, now!
you mean the oughties
this is so painfully shit to listen to, even more painfully shit than the people who leave painfully shitty comments on nodata comments sections. this is most painfully shit album since that thing that lou reed and metallica put out. ps fuck you.
horrendous, but not as horrendous as some of the ‘industrial-noise-bullshit-bondage-techno-drone-synth into a fuzz pedal’ music that boomkat keeps trying to tell us we all should listen to.
Boomkat is a record shop. It’ll try to tell you that you should listen to (and, presumably, purchase) everything it offers, just like any other store.
If the commenters on nodata hate it, it must be good.
i’ve noticed this tends to be a good gauge
rival dealer
Can someone point me in the right direction of a decent Warp records release in the last 5 years? I canny find any!
grizzly bear
Good joke!
Maybe your lack of musical taste is a good explanation
Sorry i dont like shitty totally un original indie bands…yes you are correct!
Boards of Canada, Nightmares On Wax, Oneohtrix Point Never, Grizzly Bear/Daniel Rossen/CANT, Darkstar, Mark Pritchard/Harmonic 313/Africa Hitech, Jeremiah Jae, Flying Lotus, Plaid, Clark, Squarepusher, Gonjasufi, Rustie, Battles, Bibio, Hudson Mohawke, Nice Nice, PVT, Born Ruffians, Prefuse 73, Gang Gang Dance and DJ Mujava all released at least one great record (LP/EP/7″) in the last 5 years on Warp
all puke
Good list of great artist who made bad records now, and new artist without any interest. I totaly agree with bitcoin.
Cmon man. i’ll give you that, the like of Oneohtrix, Mark Pritchard deserve praise. But the rest of the warp legends..Like dumm says, some truly great musicians, but putting out average records…and as for the ‘new recruits’ on warp, Gang gang, born ruffians,,nice nice, kwes, jae, and my personal sucky favourite Darkstat… dont make me laugh! Call me a grumpy bastard if you like, but i came to know warp because of its unique and forward thinking music…this has pretty much disappeared, Warp has joined so many other labels who release shitty indie bands just to stay with the times. Don’t know about any of you guys, but i dont’ look to warp for special music anymore. But iiiiiiiiieeeeeiiiiiii Wiiiillllllllllll alllllllllwayyyyyyyyyyyys lovvvvvvvvvve !youuuuuuuuuuuu!!
your opinion is very relevant ant well argumented, bitcoin.
NOT
the new Plaid album
Ta. I’ll check it out.
agreed, better than this one
fuckers!
I’m curious of how hard this sucks now…
As a fan of both Eno and Underworld, YOWCH this bites. It’s Edgeland with an afrobeat. :(
Very Nice WORK
AOTY. highly recommended!
