This is a really poor release. Onyeabor’s stuff is great, and there are some quality artists involved here, but all of these tracks end up in some sort of weird western/afrobeat no man’s land and as a result are boring and fucking awkward.
Agreed. Hot Chip tracx is fun (but again, nothing special really) and the rest is not interesting at all.
I love Hot Chip and Hot Chip loves me.
