Go to any guitar shop in the world, they are full of twats noddling to show how skillful they are, but who the fuck cares? He went up his own arse and no one can find him since.
Yeah great, we can get a robot to play a guitar as if it has 20 fingers. But that means twice as many notes have to be played to make it work. And that is just wankery for the sake of it. So fucking what? You could get real 2 guitarists to play together if you want more notes, would anyone give a fuck about that?
I pretty much agree… Plus, these tracks don’t really push the envelope of possibility, either; Conlon Nancarrow’s stuff for player piano really went for it, using machines to do stuff that was so preposterously unplayable it was awesome, frightening or plain hilarious… but this just strikes me as a gimmicky ploy.
