shit yes!
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaapari
Amazing, thanks ND once more
but really, shouldn’t we be supporting the artist? not ripping off the music? http://benfrost.bandcamp.com/album/a-u-r-o-r-a
well no because you can’t download the album yet. and yes if is a good album i will buy it on CD, if it is shit then i have no problem listening to it so i can decide.
First of all yes, we should support. Second, where do you think you are? Third, don’t be rhetorical you jackass, how do you know we don’t support the artists in other ways? Fourth, this album is good.
No-one needs to call anyone a jackass, really do they, just for being rhetorical. Lots of people are rhetorical every day. The reason Moggi knows that “we” (not “you” personally but “we” collectively) don’t support the artist is because the music industry is fucking dead and has been totally fucking dead since piracy began. Personally I find it really sad when albums as good as this leak months before they get released. Someone worked extremely hard on this music (unlike 90% of the crap that gets collected on this site) and Ben Frost deserves our respect. Unfortunately this is just the way things are now.
Just going to chip in here, you assume a lot of things with your comments. Who’s to say Ben Frost actually gives a damn that the record leaked? Isn’t that to be expected these days. I’m sure he’ll be fine.
You also have a loose concept of piracy. Which has been around much longer than the internet.
That Ben Frost record is tits though. I’ll grab the LP if he presses it to wax.
I support with my ears and word of mouth.
Unless you ARE Ben Frost then shut up.
holy shit , best day ever, and yes i will buy the CD
Thanks Nodata !!
Ben Frost = instant download
Thanks again Nodata
easy equation: (1) download from nodata, (2) decide if it is any good, (3) based on that decision purchase the CD or vinyl, (4) go see him play live and buy a shirt and most importantly (5) stop being a fucking pussy.
best comment ever !
Can I get an Amen for this album?! It’s fucking AWESOME! Pre-ordered my colored wax from boomkat!
it is amazing in sections but the distortion over everything wears a bit thin for me after a few listens plus Thor’s percussion seems a bit tacked on to me.
YESSSSSS
Oooh, didn’t even know this was coming.
Gonna stuff this down my ear canals asap!
Not that anybody needs prompting with this many comments already, but this was fucking awesome.
Just sayin’
I dug it.
I’ve enjoyed all of Frost’s records until now, but I’m sad to say this one is a bit of a stinker. This whole fucked-up-techno thing is getting old now – it’s a shame he felt the need to jump on the bandwagon. Seems like I’m in the minority here, but this is way too over-hyped.
