You see, many people enjoy listening to his music. That’s where the hype comes from. I could be wrong, but I think the problem for you is that you do not enjoy listening to it as much as these people. Hope that helps!
yeah totally fair, i’m not trying to harp on the guy’s jamz or take shots at anyone who likes him. i’ve taken plenty of psychs; just don’t get his music, and i’ve tried many times. the thing is, i like a lot of the musicians he associates with, i dig the genre, etc. just not for me, i guess! glad others enjoy.

I also find it weird that this guy has so many listeners. His music is certainly unconventional, yet not hard to relate to. I find his music simply amazing. It’s also great he’s being promoted in the press, blogs whatever. Whether you can think it’s over-rated under-rated, crap or gold, that’s up to you.
