Love Sun Araw, but this release just doesn’t do it for me. It’s missing all the warmth and seems to be replaced with harsh straight midi sounds. The vocals are unbearable at times. The blippity blappity percussion sounds are fairly lame. All about experimentation, but this is just underwhelming as hell.

I’m sorry I feel this way too. I’ve tried this one on about 4 times now… still don’t fit

maybe the new d/p/i will do it for ya? Well, thanks for giving it a try, sun araw has def changed since the beach head days, and i could def see how this isn’t for anyone. I really love this album and hope it clicks for you someday, tits :)
