Just looks like a man of color getting down to the music, is he a “thug” because he’s black? or is it the tattoos? stupid.

      • some1 February 11, 2014

        thx for saving the day

        • SabaCreek February 12, 2014

you’re welcome, maybe you learned something

      • Kashmir February 12, 2014

He’s black, he has no shirt, he has “thug” tatoos, he wear a baseball cap, he looks stressed…must be nice to have this dude looking after your children. ;P

        • SabaCreek February 12, 2014

“He’s black” is one of your reasons you say sarcastically that it must be nice to have this guy watch your kids- so you are a racist, correct?

          • Stringer Bell February 16, 2014

            But… he’s really like, BLACK, isn’t he?

          • hug February 20, 2014

I think he is more “thug” than black

      • UniversiteMinuit February 12, 2014

I think glorybox saying ‘thug’ was his/her way of showing solidarity of the moment and person. A ‘thug’ could mean different things in different contexts and in this case, the connotations are cool.

        • SabaCreek February 12, 2014

I don’t know where you live, but here in America labeling someone a thug when you know nothing about them other than the color of their skin and the fact that they have tattoos, or maybe have their shirt off cause it’s hot, is mostly something done by ignorant people like say Glen Beck or Ted Nugent as a substitute for the N word. The connotations here are not cool, just stupid.

          • fbk February 12, 2014

            ‘here in America’

            shut the fucking up

          • Uruguay February 13, 2014

so here in the internet we say yes to:

            ‘here in America’

            shut the fucking up

      • Dunn Pernsley February 12, 2014

Clearly you need to read the comments section more. Glorybox is the most enlightened of all of us. If he says that the gentlemen is a thug, then he’s a thug.

He also babysits for me every Friday. A true gentlethug if I ever saw one.

  2. Hernan February 11, 2014

OH thank you so very much!

  3. davey February 11, 2014

stealing this record seems more ethical when you consider that trax records’ long history of relying on minimal contracts with no mention of royalties to the people who produced this music originally.

    • WTF February 11, 2014

      @davey
this has nothing to do with TRAX Records.

      • davey February 11, 2014

oh. hehe. whoops. well anyway don’t let me stop you.

      • The Leuge February 11, 2014

I think davey still has a point.

        • more February 11, 2014

This is a compilation of Dance Mania records, Davey’s point relates to Trax records, which has nothing to do with this. Dance Mania treated their artists fairly — http://www.npr.org/2014/01/27/267027707/first-listen-hardcore-traxx-dance-mania-records-1986-1997

I know, it was a friendly joke.
Also, if A guy has THUG tattooed on his belly then I feel safe saying “Wow! Look at that thug, kids”.
I will not trade in my ability to discren reality in exchange for some trendy fear that I might be a racist when I know damn well I am not.
Lets not play: Who’s the Terrorist / Drug Dealer/ Bigot / Raciest / Homophobe / Jew (if this were 1940’s Germany / Christian (if this were Bolshevik Russia, or Syria, or Communist China, or N. Korea) / Communist (if this were 1950’s U.S.A.) etc. etc.
No matter how much Psy-op agents like Rachel Maddow brow-beat you into playing these games… just refuse.

          • more February 14, 2014

@The Leuge – if your ability to discern reality rests on taking tattoos at face value, then I’m not so sure you’re as smart as you think you are.

  4. The Leuge February 15, 2014

Yes, that was the entire point of what I just said. Good job.

  5. seez February 15, 2014

Funny that Gaspard from Justice is on the cover too.

  6. chuan_l February 24, 2014
