i’m a rull big grizzly bear fan, but this collection doesn’t bowl me over. the songs (like the cover art) are drab and they drag/meander through unfulfilling avenues of sonic thought. worth listening to for the sake of continuity, i guess, but methinks there’s a reason these tunes were shelved for so long (remixes not included). 2 pence spent.

Agree with Lauren; some sound unfinished, “Smothering Green” goes on for too long, and the remixes by those not named Nicolas Jaar are mediocre at best.
