Sobered by the Kerry/Obama WWIII machine, Bleep spools out a hopeful time capsule, liquidating quick assets to cover the laser-disk in a titanium shell.
The staff gave unanimous votes for Cocteau Twins & Cabaret Voltaire, but The Swans were swapped-out for Arctic Monkeys by the VIP himself in a rare moment of sentiment for an ex-girlfriend.
Lets hope future mutations will understand, (and overlook) this sin.

Swans are from New York and that’d defeat the whole point of this compilation, silly.

What a load of shit, two tracks fom the 50’s and 60’s, the a leap through to a few tracks from the 80’s completely ignoring the 70’s.
then on to the 90’s and up to the present day.
too much shit music amongst geniune goods.

This is embarrassingly asymmetric and facile compared to the excellent Bleep Guide to Electronic Music, which everyone should go get right this second.

    Arctic Monkeys….are you kidding me?
By definition, this would be a difficult compilation to put together and to do justice to the artists over the decades that deserve to be on it.
    This collection is terrible.

    Regards

What ever happened to warp records?

  10. SabaCreek September 5, 2013

The once great Warp is still around but mostly puts out records by indie rock guys who got into electronic music like 2 years ago such as Cant (Chris Taylor from Grizzly Bear)…
