they’ve gotten consistently less interesting with each album since Nouns.
der jus doin their thing mang
I think that their “success” has denied them the opportunity to pursue more experimental approaches in their music. Instead they’ve settled for indie accessibility, which is not a bad thing either. They are still great, but not as interesting; sure.
I am really hoping this album is strong enough to follow up mega Everything In Between
Oh man big Thx love no age going to buy the record !
buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo
Mmmm yeeahhhh
so…is it still cool to like this band?
depends on where you live.
Or how seriously you take Pitchfork and co.
Funny you guys think its more indie , for me it sounds more experimental then the others and PLEASE read their concept about the album !
Everything they do grows on me over time. First impressions are never good, but get better with every listen. I just wish the singer dude would try a little harder to SAY something. He sounds so bored all the time, like, “Hey, here’s our song. It’s ok, but you’ll probably love it more than me, and call it high art.” That’s the impression I get, but I still listen ’cause, really, no one else sounds like No Age, do they?
