  9. Conor May 15, 2013

  10. Spleen May 15, 2013

    incoming edgy comments!

  11. bohmer May 15, 2013

it took couple listens but i love it

  12. lol May 15, 2013

they should have stuck to the two bar loops…this shit sounds like a watered down BEER ON THE RUG album…but with a bunch of really expensive guest appearances thrown in for bad measure.

  13. baZ May 15, 2013

My name is Giovanni Giorgio, but everybody calls me Giorgio.

  14. Buried May 15, 2013

haven’t heard yet but I’m glad to see an album without their logo in the cover

    • Roux May 15, 2013

The helmets ARE the logo, ya nonce.

      • Buried`s Dad May 16, 2013

really? that comment makes him a kiddy fiddler?

        • Roux May 16, 2013

“Nonce words are often created as part of pop culture and advertising campaigns.”

          http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nonce_word

          • Roux`s Mum May 17, 2013

shut it you you nonce. you`re boring the crap out of everyone

  15. MarioHuber May 15, 2013

really nice. a step away from human after all and all their previous work. totally unexpected. even sweeter and sugary than anything brought previous by them

    • stinknugget May 15, 2013

is it possible to get aural diabetes? yes it is.

  16. aaron carter May 15, 2013

    SHITE

  17. Rekin May 15, 2013

I can’t believe that this is the same band that gave us Homework. I didn’t expect them to do the same thing again but this is just bad.

    • badger May 15, 2013

i agree, they made so much good music in the 90s. homework, top class remix’s, roule, le knightclub..but then .it all went down cheesywank hill with discovery

  18. BOM May 15, 2013

    gracias!!!

  19. the ghost of michael jackson May 15, 2013

never heard of these guys, excited to check this obscure release out. thanks nodata!

    • SkinDangle May 15, 2013

      Nice one, son!

    • Cunto May 16, 2013

Smile and hide your disappointment at how shite this hipster album sounds.

Grin and pretend to like it.

      • badger May 16, 2013

stop kidding yourself. EVERY album on this website is a hipster album, but yes this is shite

  20. Luke May 15, 2013

    is vinyl rip, yes?

  21. badger May 15, 2013

    awful. awful music.

    • Bontis May 17, 2013

II was really hoping for dubstep, too :(

  22. Jestin May 15, 2013

This is a 1 in 4 album… 1 out of every 4 seem to like it for some really stupid reason. This album is complete garbage. I’m waiting for them to remove their helmets and see two Ashton Kutchers waving at us.

  23. pablo May 15, 2013

    Gracias!!!!!
Thank you NO DATA for everything!!!!!

    Awesome album

  24. MARCEL May 15, 2013

  28. h4x0r May 15, 2013

The comments on this post are hilarious.

    • francesco May 15, 2013

      il tuo è senza cuore

    • Kashmir May 16, 2013

That’s the only reason I am here and I’m very amused…Luv ya dudes!

Besides that this album is waaaay cooler than their first shitty single “Get Lucky”. Can’t wait for Tiesto to pimp up “Doin’ it right”. And I don’t mean it as sarcastic as it may sound. ;)

  29. AARDVARKIAN CALENDAR May 15, 2013

had no expectations for this, yet it turns out to be saccharin-filled kitsch pop garbage.

    • AARDVARKIAN CALENDAR May 15, 2013

that giorgio track is a fucking gimmick.

      • Kashmir May 16, 2013

I think it’s an awesome prelude for their next remix-album.

  30. stinknugget May 15, 2013

I’m so glad you guys are saying this. I heard the album stream and was like RUFKM!? Then I was reading all the reviews with people saying “BEST THING THEY EVER DONE”. Yeah if you like embedded MIDI audio on web pages then, yeah, I guess it’s pretty good. I knew it was problematic when they got Pharrell to sing on their main track because he just can’t. AND he even admits that! Also DP even said they were waiting for people to say this album sucks. Well let the heckhounds loose. Shit’s an abomination. Total velveeta habanero wank session…

    • Richard May 16, 2013

Your comment is perfect. The thing about the embedded MIDI audio is hilarious, i’m going tu use it to talk about this weird album… i’m french though but it still sucks !

    • Kashmir May 16, 2013

If you’d like Schlager, you might like this album more. =P

  31. Cunto May 16, 2013

This album is the aural equivalent of having a wank and your Mum walking in.

    While on rhohypnol.

    • twato May 17, 2013

now you`re just trying to be hip

  32. badger May 16, 2013

    even worse then mbv.

    • jared May 17, 2013

new you is one of the best songs of the year. still a good album….
this daft punk sounds pretty av-large. theyve turned themselves into a poor mans sebastian tellier.

  33. Gigo May 16, 2013

You are late nodata, go home

    • carlobirolli May 16, 2013

      where di you download it?

      • Kashmir May 16, 2013

newalbumreleases.net, but here the comments are much cooler.. nodata FTW!!!!!1

        • carlobirolli May 20, 2013

mount kimbie pls, getting crazy about cold spring faultless youth

  34. uslupan May 16, 2013

    Divined and epic.

  35. Seriously May 16, 2013

    This album is BRILLIANT.

    • habaman May 16, 2013

Seriously? i was never excited for this, i mean, its clear that thier days are over and the money is slowly leaking so the called up pharrel and decided to give the youth what they want, and if you are one of those who wet themselves the first time they heard about this, consider yourself garbage. For the rest of us, we can look forward to when we get our pre ordered boc releases

      • habaman i guess that makes you a May 16, 2013

        pretencious cunt

      • Kashmir May 16, 2013

I wasn’t excited either, hell the whole promo passed me, just heard about the new single from nodata and so….I am surprised about this not being that shitty. Wolfgang Gartner or Dada Life are waaaaaay bigger bitches!

      • kidfortoday May 17, 2013

Indeed, I want Tomorrow’s Harvest today pls!

  36. meh May 16, 2013

meh. 3-10-13 is not bad. rest is boring syrupy pop nonsense. 4/10, thanks for the up anyways.

  37. Marvin May 16, 2013

    Shity mainstream

    • Gay May 16, 2013

must be something about this album. everyone`s desperate to get their opinion out. i guess that means daft punk have succeeded as artists if nothing else.

      • lol May 16, 2013

People aren’t responding to the art they’re responding to the huge and tasteless marketing campaign preceding the album. It just means the marketing department at Columbia Records has succeeded, nothing else, and even then they only “succeeded” by throwing wads of cash at anything and everything from Saturday Night Live to Synthtopia.

        • Kashmir May 16, 2013

dawm….hope they don’t mess with nodata again now..

          • lmfao May 17, 2013

guess those artists at columbia deserve a fair share of the credit then! they`ve certainly created a debate around this album.
sounds ok to me but need to give it more time. don`t know why everyone`s so desperate to get their opinion out in a rush.
as a work of art it`s worked, so fair play to DP, hope they enjoy their retirement!

  38. Z E N И T H May 16, 2013

Daft Punk make pop, so fucking what. Doesn’t mean the is no craft to it.

    • BH May 16, 2013

Your album is so much better than this one. But thx for your input.

  39. rick ross' personal trainer May 16, 2013

cool mixtape. when is the album coming out?

  40. sillysausage May 16, 2013

Every single Daft Punk release has always been divisive, people will either love it or hate it. Its seems like with every album release Daft Punk are actively trying to wittle away at their fanbase in order to keep their core fans that really appreciate a broad range of musical influences. I’m glad I’m in that bracket

    • anonandon May 16, 2013

nonsense – they’re trying to extend their fanbase and sell more records.

      • Kashmir May 16, 2013

but…but..I feel love in this…so let’s steal the shit outta this tape XD

  41. Bontis May 16, 2013

Party’s over, folks. You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here.

  42. Relaxx May 16, 2013

French classic music for computer and sexy teenagers ? love sex in Cannes beach and you ?

  43. Kuntwab May 16, 2013

Are these the boys that done that advert soundtrack? I like them, do they has any other albums?

    • Kashmir May 16, 2013

hmmm, I kinda like the idea of Thomas Bangalter or Gorgio Moroder being the new-age mozarts and beethovens. The music sounds better with them. ;)

  44. blabla May 16, 2013

that hype is ridiculous! not a bad album, but not good either in my opinion. okay, but it’s Daft Punk so everybody shit their pants out, though it’s a totally average record.

    • balbal May 18, 2013

don`t worry. your opinion counts. it really does

  45. cwr May 16, 2013

    garbage. shameful. embarassing.

    • cwriship May 18, 2013

tell us something cool you hipsta muthafuck!

  46. ciiman May 16, 2013

smells like old 80’s synth pop disco funk
    sounds like good soup

    • Miss Black May 16, 2013

      Good soup indeed.

  47. Miss Black May 16, 2013

All of you who are trying to say this record sucks or is garbage, go home and try to make this kind of music. You can’t please everyone but I personally like this record. Let’s just take it as, Daft Punk trying to broaden their musical horizons and taking a risk by making RAM. The collaborations are great, and the tracks with Pharell in it just proves that there are no boundaries when it comes to music genres!

    • stinknugget May 16, 2013

The problem is they didn’t do a very good job at nailing these other musical genres like they do when they make there own hybrid style of music. So they goofed. They already were broadening their music horizons right from the start by actually sampled original disco/funk/soul tracks. Nobody has to make music to have an opinion, it’s their job to make the music and it’s our job to listen. Nobody told them, hey you, make this music (I hope!)! That’s why they do it. We’re fans, this is what we’re supposed to do. Listen, enjoy, hate, share and talk about it. Not just listen and shut up? Why have music at all if that’s the case. Why are we even commenting at all?

Take a listen to an actual Chic record (Nile Rodgers’ actual group from the 70s) if you want to hear how this is done.

      • MARCEL May 16, 2013

CAUSE BITCH ASS NIGGAS FEELINGS GET HURT WHEN THEY LIKE SOMETHING THAT SUCKS. PHARRELL MADE UNREMARKABLE STUFF A DECADE AGO, NO NEED TO BRING HIM BACK NOW. I GUESS IT’S NOT A BAD THING SOME PEOPLE LOVE THIS GARBAGE, SOMEONE NEEDS TO DIGEST IT.

        • Buried May 17, 2013

          hahahahahha

        • Buried May 17, 2013

painfully listened to the album until the end, then…
          SHIFT + DELETE

          • skinflute May 18, 2013

“it’s their job to make the music and it’s our job to listen” <— LOL, WTF is that supposed to mean :P

p.s. well done buried, you are officially the hippest hipster on the interweb

  48. ADMN May 17, 2013

I dont see why everyone is hating so much..There will be remixes…I can dig the disco/funk/jazz..But really im just thankful to God that there weren’t any Dubstep tracks..

    • MDNA May 18, 2013

      True dat

  49. frenchpeoplesuckthesister May 17, 2013

Mozart kiss me please and fuck the daftpunkontatk I hate the robot you now

    • frenchpeoplewhaaaa??? May 18, 2013

  50. Feed May 17, 2013

GO LISTEN TO THEIR ESSENTIAL MIX, IZ ALL THERE, ( you suckers)

  51. Doug May 18, 2013

    meh

  52. nope May 19, 2013

considering what else has been going on in french music I’m not surprised

  53. Erok May 20, 2013

This album is impressive. Simply because they are taking risks and avoiding current EDM missteps like throwing dubstep bass drops in absolutely everything. Plus from an engineer standpoint, this album is fantastic. Anyone who dislikes it simply has a limited knowledge of historical musicolooy and theory.

    • mute May 21, 2013

This album is boring. Simply because they are repeating the same minute and fifteen seconds of neo-funk plodding and calling it a song. Plus from a composer standpoint, it’s sad they brought on so many big-name collaborators and still ended up with a lackluster album. Anyone who makes comments like you simply has a limited knowledge of subjective appreciation and wants to sound cool by using the word “simply” several times in one vaguely condescending internet post.

  54. ok May 20, 2013

lol @ noobs expecting there to be ‘dubstep’ tracks because it is a trend. album is mediocre at best.

    • habaman May 22, 2013

“Simply because they are taking risks and avoiding current EDM missteps like throwing dubstep bass drops in absolutely everything. ” calling this album good because it doesnt go with the american molly bro step is pathetic, i hang arround on no data because i dotn want to get confronted with skrill bauuer or steve aoki
