          • paniq June 6, 2013

along with the new Daft Punk, rightright

    • pagan June 5, 2013

instead of coming here just to drop some shit you should all stop criticizing others and spent your precious time doing something more interesting.. go make your own music and stop this ball sucking hipsterism on comments..

  2. frazh June 4, 2013

My favorite BOC album on first listen and just a great piece of electronic music

  5. young cis-gendered homosexual male June 4, 2013

    epic, simply epic :)

  6. ueda June 4, 2013

  8. Surrealdreams June 4, 2013

<3 this album! Best of 2013.

  9. chan June 5, 2013

sounds like an old boards of canada album, nothing new, dissapoinnted

    • Celso June 5, 2013

Oh! Exactly like the one from Daft Punk?? Only better?

      • chan June 5, 2013

it”s just there were evolutions between “music for”, geogaddi and campfire…but with this one it is as if they collected very old tracks to make this album, it’s not bad but not great

  10. BOR June 5, 2013

same old boring shit…8 years for that ?? thanks for made me laughed today guys.simply ridiculous.

    • MEMEs June 5, 2013

if it’s the same old boring shit, than it means that you simply are not into their kind of music and just trying to be a hipster by saying you don’t like it. if you never liked it in the first place you just don’t ‘get’ it.

      • Bob June 5, 2013

resting on their laurels with this lp

  11. liver June 5, 2013

Great album. Wait for the hi-fi version of these and play them on some good speakers or headphones. As always, The Devil is in the Details. Probably won’t make the typical electro fan happy…no drops or wompity womps on this gaiz, sorry!!!

    • pleb June 5, 2013

you really think people that use nodata look for “wompity womps”

      • hmmmm June 6, 2013

        yep

  12. MEMEs June 5, 2013

is it possible to get a flac, aiff or wave copy?

  13. stop it June 5, 2013

    thank you squeaky pants

  14. kidfortoday June 5, 2013

I’d have to say BoC is my favourite band of all time. MHTRTC & Geogaddi redefined for me what was possible with electronic music. The brothers Sandison somehow always managed to weave a musical thread of nostalgia & natural beauty with a vague underlying menace in their tunes – & for me this album is no different. It’s true to their original sound & they haven’t tried to produce this album in line with the current trends of electronic music. Tomorrow’s Harvest rests well with my brain and it will receive countless listens in the years ahead. I wish it didn’t take 8 years for it to come to fruition but I’m just so happy that they’ve released some new material – finally. Long live BoC, & thanks to Mike & Marcus for keeping the past inside the present & leaving an eagle in my mind. The turquoise hexagon sun is shining brightly today!

    • Bob June 5, 2013

get me the fucking sick bag

      • revole June 5, 2013

while u at it go get yourself a life, Bob

        • Bob June 5, 2013

got a life, it’s the sick bag i need

        • Bob June 5, 2013

Look, I love BoC too since 1998. But that is some major fucking dribble penned up there ^^^^

          • ge brings dead things to life June 5, 2013

and what do you have to offer us, bob? I mean except you being a critical, whiny bitch?

      • kidfortoday June 5, 2013

Ah sorry Bobby, didn’t mean to upset you & all. Tomorrow has been harvested today & that means good times for us BoC fans. Hope that nausea subsides. Peace

  15. Bocuma June 5, 2013

  16. ch June 5, 2013

long awaited, thanks for letting me try before buying or not

  17. Leonardo DiSlappahoe June 5, 2013

First Daft Punk, then Boards of Canada…now we just need a Burial album in 2013 and hopefully no more yapper about outrageously overhyped, generic electronic music.

    • bartek June 5, 2013

not sure if troll or just tasteless

      • nowwave June 5, 2013

        is Burial himself…

  18. glorybox June 5, 2013

thx! just downloaded all their albums and i have to say im disappointed. sounds dated, needs more future garage vibes ^_^

    • Bob June 5, 2013

doesn’t need future garage vibes, just NEW vibes like they used to create so easily.

    • elkoza June 5, 2013

      future garage? yeah, for sure…

  19. draper June 5, 2013

Nothing Is Real is as a beautiful a track as anything BoC have ever done.

  20. bohmer June 5, 2013

the two closing track are my favorite

  21. George Maharis June 5, 2013

You guys are amusing with your aggro man-hate of each others musical tastes. I have to assume that everyone posting on here is male…and pasty? :)

  22. ¥ June 5, 2013

worth the wait, haters gonna hate.

  23. Fozzie Bear June 5, 2013

more like, Boards of BLANDida waka waka waka waka

  24. (-o-) June 5, 2013

im waiting for new FSOL and Fatboy Slim’s big beat albums…

  25. cwr June 5, 2013

this isn’t bad. but it isn’t great. it seems inconsistent in that it seems to want to be darker but doesn’t really commit to the apocalyptic sound of “reach for the dead” or the tracks that accompanied the initial transmissions. i somewhat agree with what one poster said about this sounding like tracks from all the other records. i don’t think it’s shit, but it certainly isn’t epic or brilliant.

    • ok June 5, 2013

      word

    • June 6, 2013

How about spending some time with a record before passing judgement?

      • cwr June 6, 2013

        How about not?

        • June 6, 2013

          good one!

          • fools June 6, 2013

            shanks.

  26. Marcus Eoin June 5, 2013

You bastards. It took me and my brother 7 years to make this album. And you cunts download it for free while bitching all the time. Get it right up ye!

    • Michael Sandison June 5, 2013

Calm down there brother. They’re just silly internet hipster pirates. Not worth giving a shite about.

      • Marcus Eoin June 5, 2013

Aye, true that. They’re probably Daft Punk fans.

        • cdczmb June 5, 2013

          LOL
don’t worry, I bought the vinyl and this is a great album.
Please hurry with the next one.

  27. trickydisco June 5, 2013

  28. grandpa joe June 5, 2013

  29. Devastator Jr. June 5, 2013

Well, some people are hard to please. This album is excellent.

    • cwr June 6, 2013

but the thing is.. it’s not.

      • übergod June 6, 2013

        indeed

        • stop it June 6, 2013

yeah, it is a disappointment, i;ll wait until i can buy it in the second hand bin for $3

      • turnkey quilt June 6, 2013

but the thing is… your opinion counts no more than his does.
Great album BTW, but the thing is… u don’t agree – and do I care? Not really

        • cwr June 6, 2013

but the thing is… you clearly are only calling this great because it is boards of canada. think outside of the hype you tasteless ninny.

          • turnkey quilt June 6, 2013

Nah I’m calling it great music because I think it’s great. It’s just an opinion dear Caleb, chill. But the thing is… why would anyone use the word ‘ninny’, thats so sad it makes me laugh.

          • nah June 7, 2013

it’s great because it’s great, u tasteless turd

  30. spiro June 6, 2013

Dig this album, authentic BOC flavours. Of course an album aint gonna please everyone, but from the online blog reviews it’s been praised highly.
Ha yes $3 in the bargain bin! Yeah right next to their 1 track LP that just sold for $5000 & their Few Old Tunes cassette that recently sold for £1000 on ebay. Fuck there’s even an old Geogaddi poster salvaged from a record store that just sold for almost $200. Dunno if there’s many electronic artists that can command such interest in their limited releases. Why? Because BOC are goddam genius music makers.

    • takmoob June 6, 2013

      word

    • cwr June 6, 2013

So now we base how good music is on the price of some ridiculous limited edition merchandise being sold on an auction site? You fucking ninny.

      • nah June 7, 2013

no, we base it on the BoC greatness. You ninny.

      • obsidian June 8, 2013

Direct quote from Wikipedia – ‘Upon its release, Tomorrow’s Harvest received critical acclaim. At Metacritic, which assigns a weighted average score out of 100 to reviews and ratings from mainstream critics, the album has received a metascore of 88, based on 7 reviews, indicating “universal acclaim.”
        Suck it cwr

  31. Fuck Off June 6, 2013

Bunch of whining little bitches. You’re getting the album for free here days before official release and you’re fucking complaining. It’s not been out long enough to form a final opinion on yet. Go back to Pitchfork you miserable cunts..Top work on getting the FLAC up here nodata! ;)

    • cwr June 6, 2013

Where are the guidelines for how long it takes to form an opinion? Go listen to your hyped shit, ninny.

      • turnkey quilt June 6, 2013

Ninny? Jesus are u serious dude! Who the fuck uses a word like ninny to insult someone. Whats tragic is that u used it on 3 consecutive posts. That’s hilarious. And whats even more hilarious is your website. Your pictures are memorable, in a ninny kind of way :)

        • cwr June 6, 2013

          You ninny.

        • fools June 6, 2013

the ninny shit is dumb. but his website is pretty cool. and you can’t even type out “you”. so.. both of you are kinda tools.

      • God June 6, 2013

        cwr = can’t write + read

        • cwr June 7, 2013

          go away, ninny.

      • obsidian June 8, 2013

88/100 at Metacritic, 9/10 at Clash Music, 4/5 at the Guardian, 8/10 on Spin, 9/10 at Drownedinsound…
Guess your opinion’s more important though. Damn shame, poor little ninny boy

  32. hmmmm June 6, 2013

i can confirm that this is music

  33. Pork Jacuzzi June 6, 2013

Bug druggin’ thug buggerers busted in on me and my lady steppin’ into the bung jungle one fortnight ago and caused a damn rumpus. It’s the only reason this blasted album was released. Darn tootin’!

  34. Jan June 7, 2013

    90 comments, just saying…

  35. SphereDweller June 8, 2013

I really like Tomorrows Harvest, although it’s definitely not their most memorable or best work, 7/10. Too many uber hipster contrarians on here seeking attention though. Listen to the record and make your own decision, don’t take these twats word for it.
    PEACE

  36. kidfortoday June 8, 2013

    Awesome. 100 comments & counting

  37. kidfortoday June 8, 2013
