This genre Could be good. What’s needed is to take all the “elevator music” that sucks and bring that to a minimum… Then, take all of the “elevator music” that you couldn’t help but like, despite yourself, and bring that to a maximum.
They did the opposite of that.
I mean, look, they’re drawing from the era of Duran Duran and Star Wars and Nausica: Valley of the Wind, there’s a LOT of good “cheesy” stuff they could draw on if they had the brains.
