I’m really more of an Atlas Sound guy myself, but I’m looking forward to giving this a listen.
agreeed ,atlas sound is reliable but the same cant be said of deerhunter. i love cryptograms and fluorescent gray, (aswell as the blog music they released around that time.) everything since has been a disappointment. microcastles and halcyon digest are crap. i think i actually prefer lotus plaza to deerhunter now

there isnt a single song on either halcyon digest or microcastles that is as good as quicksand by lotus plaza.. cryptograms is way better then either of those albums AND they were a way better live band back then too. anyhoo im loving monomania so the joke is on me

wow what a fantastic album. Took me by surprise at first but grows on you the second time. I’m not sure how this band can top this album, I consider it to be one of their best
