The last Saad release was their most mature yet, Confluences it was called. Track 2 just blew my mind & is worth seeking out!
So now I’ll head over to Bandcamp, (as the hits to their page help them out), with high hopes.
Saaad is my favorite ambient/drone artist out there right now aside from Tim Hecker, good shit!

Anyway, its too easy to fall into the dark side of drone & think you are doing something new or creative. Dark and contrary things create this illusion.
I know he could do something wonderful if he let himself craft a piece whilst refusing to allow wailing, squeaking & dissonance to reassure him it is Mature, Different, or Engrossing.
Even if he disagrees with me, I am sure he is bold enough to try it as an exorcise.

and this album is not very dark, listen to Hangover#8, Soft Drug, Forever Late … it’s not dark music for me. and SAAAD is sad.
‘It was’ and ‘raincoats’ did that quite well if you recall ^^
