I love good “Drone”, but it really bugs me when an artist, in the year 2013, says: “Look at me hold down one key on my synth for 20 mins straight with zero …and I mean ZERO variation! Isn’t that NEW? Isn’t that INTERESTING?”
No. It is not.
I get it, and I own a few pieces like that, but in the year 2005 there was ALREADY enough of that sort of thing that if we played them all consecutively backward in time we would surly arrive at Golgatha!
