what’s the problem with someone enjoying your music and sharing it with other people to enjoy it as well?

I think the question is valid. Why? Have you looked at this site? You are one of thousands of obscure little bands no one has ever heard of. And this is coming from someone who has spent his whole life ivestigating obscure music. I was a dj. I work at a record store. I have never heard of you. Why not rejoice that now I have?! I would have NEVER BOUGHT your stuff before, but now I may, or go see you if you come to town, or tell my friends. Im not trying to be a smart ass when I ask, for real, WHY? (other then the ambiguous “you dont have permission”). Why not?
