Please remove all the download links and take down the page immediately. thanks, Bill Kouligas – PAN
Excuse me, I was a bit harsh. Feel free to keep all the download links and the page up. I sometimes forget that we’re in a new era of music distribution now and that blogs like nodata are actually exposing more people to artists such as Lee Gamble.
thanks, Bill Kouligas – PAN
the reply above was made by the blogger himself and not me. however it would be appreciated if you remove the download links asap. thanks
actually I saw the stats here: https://nodata.tv/66154 and have now changed my mind again.
Thank you nodata for introducing me to new fans, in the internet age people rarely buy music anyway, but at least this way I might score some new fans.
Why even try to be noble about it? “Exposing” Just be honest about it – thief! Good news is that vinyl version of this release is bound to be sold out. And I’m going to be among the 1st to purchase.
I wish people would stop imitating Bill Kouligas in these comments. It must get very annoying for the guy :(
Question to tru Bill though – how damaging are links like this? As seasonofthewirch commented, the LP is almost bound to sell out – is it the fact that it deprives your label of further revenue from boomkat download sales and the like? I was always of the opinion that no one bought those things, unless it was to share them on blogs etc. ;p
Kind regards,
(not) Bill Kouligas
you are right, very little revenue comes from boomkat and such. in truth it is a knee jerk reaction to be against download blogs like this. i have friends who own labels and they’re fine with it. labels are having a harder time than artists though, at least the artist can make money from live shows.
i’m getting old, perhaps that’s the real issue here, and i should just let you kids enjoy yourselves.
thanks for the question
Bill
guys i have no idea who replies here under my name, it makes no sense. if you want to ask me something just drop me a line here: info@pan-act.com. I only asked to take down the download links because the record is not even out yet..
i have to admit i’ve had a laugh reading the comments here, although why someone would pretend to be me is kinda crazy when you think about it.
If you want to speak to me directly, ignore the message above and email me directly at bill@pan-act.com. cheers.
I suggest you take the dwnld links down…really
stupid comments are stupid
The records not even out yet, totally disrespectful….you should keep your IRL status close
I have to admit – speaking as an artist – that i am glad that blogs like ‘no data’ exist to present niches and alternative electronic music to explore and to find, since a couple of weeks i have heard songs of artists unknown for me before and i finally did purchase the most loved songs at bleep and other stores. So, yes, time has changed and blogs like these where users at least drop comments and TALK about music helps to discover new music and helps to even keep labels alive by creating a new audience.
BORING! Where’s Marcel when you need him?
I agree Boredstiff, were all missing MARCEL’s infinite wisdom here…
ejem… Soooo… lot of wonderful chatting here, but no one said if it was any good. any recommendations?
(PD: If I like them and they play in London, chances me going (with friends (hundreds)) are higher than if there was no nodata post..)
I ment if the album is any good, and probably divide hundres by at least 50…
Jo Bill,
could you please upload the links again? Thanks.
Hi nodata,
I know, I asked you to take down this page, and I was e little irrational… you know haw it is : the label is going down, the industry of music, well… so I’m getting a little crazy…
But know, I’m better, this record is selling good on boomkat, so can you please, please, please, re-up all the links again?
Thanks a lot.
I’m not boring you again.
I swear.
Cheers.
The real Bill Kouglas.
I agree with Bill Kouligas ® above. Would someone please kindly reup this. Thanks.
Bill Kouligas
