    please take this down

    Why? Why take it down?
    I’m currently downloading this. There are so many people out there who download(or steal, as some idiots would have it)albums, purely to listen because the band are unknown(or known)and their interest is piqued for whatever reason, and actually go on to buy the damned thing. Yes, buy! Unbelievable isn’t it. I should know, because I do, and I personally have friends/contacts who do the same.
    Times are getting harder by the month, never mind year, and expendable income is now becoming genuinely scarce, and seriously, buying albums and finding out they’re shit is just too much, and is becoming all-too-common. Not going that route and haven’t been for three years …
    I recently downloaded an album by a band called Snowman, absolutely loved it and immediately sought out and bought three albums by them. I would NEVER have discovered them if not for ‘stealing’ their album off this awful internet.
    A friend recently bought the new album by Soulsavers on the strength of hearing one song, and then found out(at least to his tastes)that the rest of the album fell very, very short of that one song. He sold it a few weeks later, made a loss and has now been converted to the art of the download.
    So suck it up or fuck off.

    I’m in agreement with the above. Downloading this solely based on the album title and art, if it turns out to be my new favorite record / band /etc great, if it’s not to my taste, so be it. But at the end of the day, if it wasn’t available for download on a site such as this, I guarantee with 99% certainty that I would never, ever be exposed to this album or group.

    @Charles
    …same with me! Album art and title lol.
    Only listened once(to four/five songs)as havebeen busy today, but for a first listen really like it. See how it goes after a few listens but if it grows and whole album is strong then I’ll probably be buying this, ripping lossless then on to my iPod Nano 5g & Zo2 – and all will be good!
    Be well …
