Awesome.
Actually / this is track 07 on a Warp Lighthouse Party cd-r from years back. Hardcore fans will know ;]

Is this cd-r available?
Someone?
Somewhere?
Gaah. I got mixed up… it’s track 11, from some other concert they did. You can find it if you dig.. sick mix. So good live! I paid a stupid amount for it on Ebay, but it’s def out there now for free

Dude! Thank you!
my pleasure. Happy to contribute.. I love this site… about time I gave back.
wahhh thank you! looking for this like hell. dude, you’ve got the lighthouse party stuff and the magic bus tour uploaded somewhere?
“I’ve always been a massive fan of Boards of Canada (if its not obvious already!). 10-11 years ago I stumbled upon a bootleg recording of one of their extremely rare live performances at the Warp 10 Birthday party in 1999. The closing tune at this show has always remained a mystery to me. As far as I know it has no title and has never been released. It’s quite possibly one of my favorite things they have done and really is a shame it never came out. You can hear the original bootleg recording (quite bad quality) here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYEZueAelKc
Fast forward to Summer 2012… Since I am a huge nerd I decided to take this bootleg recording and re-produce it for fun. Using the recording I laid new drums over the existing drum patterns (almost 100% accurate to original), replayed some synth parts and the bassline. The only thing I didn’t try to re-create was the original vocoder parts and some random samples so I used the original bootleg recording for that. I was tempted to make a shorter 4-5 minute version but I figured I should preserve the original piece in its intended length.”
this has been on his soundcloud, and this is most certainly a transcode…’hardcore fans will know’
Incredible to finally see BoC on nodata’s landing page! Def one of my favourite bands of all time. I still hope for another full length album by the brothers Sandison, as it’s been almost 7 years since Campfire Headphase. Geogaddi & MHTRTC will forever remain electronic classics of pure genius.
n1nja mentioned the Warp Lighthouse party above, where BoC performed live in 2000. It’s a good live mix to have as it contains an unreleased track called ‘Spiro’ (only a snippet can be found as a loop on Warp20 Infinite) & it also has a great alternative version of Julie & Candy before it was released on Geogaddi.
Give it a listen here – http://www.mediafire.com/?bvbojdokb4j1p4i
thank you so much!
wow check out the spritze party in here.
I was very very cold walking back in the early hours after the Lighthouse party… Last Remembered Thing brought me right up hahaha
any new authorised/unauthorised BOC is fine by me, do we really care so much about logistics… harcore or not
Ex BoC collaborator Christ. has a new album coming out on 15th October 2012 titled “Cathexis Motion Picture Soundtrack on Parallax Sounds Records.
there’s also Disengage radio mix, A + B. As well, as a “Few Old Tunes”, floating out there. Good to see all the BOC fans out there… maybe one day, they’ll come back. Even Aphex, is due…
Yeah I agree, fantastic to know BoC still warms peoples brains in 2012. I think I’ve listened to Amo Bishop Roden more than any other tune in existence. A finer evergreen piece of music I think I’ll never find.
As for their unreleased stuff, there’s plenty I know. I’ve got A Few Old Tunes, Old Tunes vol 1 & 2, BoC Maxima & a bunch of unreleased singles & radio / live mixtapes. But I’ve never come across a legit copy of Acid Memories, Play By Numbers or Hooper Bay – & I’ve scoured the foul internet for these relentlessly. There’s so many fake versions out there that it becomes pretty hopeless after awhile. Please, if any kind soul on this site has any of these, I’d be eternally grateful for a link…
Here you’ll find BoC’s complete discography, including all released & unreleased material – http://bocpages.org/wiki/Discography
I’m extremely appreciative of the DL, but again (and again) why the awful 251 kbps upload? Is it so hard to land a 320? Please just drop a 320! These sub-par uploads are so frustrating.
Thank for the post and the post within the comments =))))
the file name was almost BOCUMA. good effort.
All I can say is thank god after 10 years of finding this gem on audiogalaxy someone has removed the annoying yank chick aksing peeps how her camera works!
