His last album, “for M”, is a favorite of mine. Alot like the best elements of Plaid or Tycho even.
I have high hopes for this.
My hopes have been dashed.
There is a strong element of Alternative/Indie in this.
i’m with Caustic…
this deserves an indie tag as the first tag…. more akin to indie and post rock than electronic music or downtempo (which it has next to nothing in common with and is not anywhere near the lower tempo range). i would also never call it experimental. this is very accessible music. no new tricks here.
for what it is, it’s pretty dang good though. just a bit too white bread for my tastes.
