Much better than it has any right to be. For once BC may not be being completely full of shit when he says that this is the best thing he’s done since Mellon Collie…..or whatever. Verdict is still way out for me on whether it is actually “good” but so far not half as embarrassing as I was expecting!
it’s very, very, very good. i agree with E. it’s much better than it has any right to be. was quite surprised at how good it sounds. kind of like “machina” vs. “adore.” and parts of it even sound like “gish.” this is a proper follow-up to “machina” (which is the last great pumpkins album, in my opinion. good shit!
