Does the music tell a story? Maybe one about the melencholy yet unique wanderings of an estranged yet gifted child who comes to know partial love? Partial, yet so so accute as to nearly make him doubt the beautiful clock-work empire he errects in his lonley brilliance? Will it have Russians playing synths from the 80’s?

This album is an excellent example of how to maintain emotion within IDM rather than employing a sterile loop of beats that is far too common within the genre. Although some tracks meander at times and often border on ambiance instead of IDM, I found it to be well worth my time.
