Thanks a lot nodata.
damn this album is really good, grew on me on the first take, nice!
I don’t think I even need to listen to this to know its my favorite album of the year. But I will anyways. Luv u Bradford
Can’t wait to hear this one.
Raise your hand if, like me, you gave this 5 stars before you even listened to the whole thing
Snooozefest
Wake me up when Bradford plugs his guitar and drum machine back in
we need more “operation” tracks
great!!
I am an enormous fan of Bradford, and it pains me to say it, but to me this album sounds sort of…uninspired. I still have plenty of faith in the man but, I don’t know…I just wish I could like this one more…
Uninspired?! These are some of the best songs Bradford has written. Not sure about the inclusion of the quark songs at the end, though. Listen to it more than once.
i will try to give it more of a chance, but i really wouldn’t consider these some of his best songs. Maybe his most accessible. I just think Bradford got a little ahead of himself here…the vocals are way too high in the mix for my liking, the whole picture of himself on the front…the whole album just screams BRADFORD. Which is understandable for a solo project, but at the same time, it takes away from the highly personal and reflective feelings i so often get whilst listening to his earlier stuff. Enough with the jangly folk songs and aimless soundscapes. I want an album that can tell a story
I’m with Iceland. Jangly folk doesn’t suit this kid. He sounds silly when he’s blowing on a mouth-harp or twanging on a guitar. My level of excited anticipation gets smaller and smaller with every one of his DH/AS releases, because the songs get more and more generic.
But I’ll give this a shot. If it sucks, at least I got new Tom Waits to keep me occupied.
Currently listening and enjoying. I didn’t really dig much into Halcyon Digest, felt too Bradford induced, not the same grind i got from Cryptograms. Yet Parallax being his most recent work and solo work, it is increasingly more enticing as the album progresses. He’s actually singing for a good amount on Lightworks. Don’t always get that, a Lo-fi artist admitting he might actually have a full singing voice. And i dig the ambient drifts. Thanks Bradford Cox and nodata.tv
I find a purchase on its way.
Awesome, what a post!!!
WTF!
Is there anyone with another link to download?
The link is broken!
This is fantastic.
Any new links, Nodata pals?
