this guy sucks! he’s music isn’t that entertaining, he’s more of a gimmick than an artist, i went to one of his show in nyc and the opening acts were better plus ppl spent more time smoking or fucking each other with clothes on than actually paying attention to him or enjoying the music and having fun. I guess that’s what ppl do to his music no wonder they never know how horrible he is

That’s unfortunate, he’s booked to play in South Africa in December & I was mildly excited about the prospect. But now I know he’ll suck hard playing here as he would anywhere it seems. Gonna have to hold out for Nicolas Jaar instead, which will be a much better musical excursion no doubt, well worth my time + pennies. Dammit, the southern hemisphere certainly gets neglected in terms of quality live electronic artistry.

There’s a really good chance Jaar will come to S.A. Some promoters I know have been talking to him for a couple months now. Soul Clap would be insane too, but like most quality DJ’s will prob never get to play here.

yes, the comments on here tend to be pretty accurate. he’s definitely the most hyped and crappiest performer out there. he doesn’t deserve to be called an artist…

well he is hyped, but I like “The reward is cheese” back then.
So if you don’t like him don’t download him and don’t waste your time slagging off artists. Credit where credits due – he is at least getting music out there.

You dont get credit for being marketable. You dont get credit for being sold to the masses with ease. You get credit for creative music.
He used to make some pretty decent prog & tech house in 06 and 07. Now its all garbage. He went after the young raver types and Ed Hardy wearing douche’s with cheesy trance and electro. I mean, that is where the money is unfortunately. I saw him live in 08 at HARD haunted mansion and it was a very boring, flat, laptop set. No wonder he talks smack about DJ’s, he’s probably sick of them schooling him at shows outside the US.
