First of all, it’s “label.” And what is the nature of the “fail”? I believe you have failed…in reading comprehension.
The word “they” can be used as a singular pronoun. It’s hard to believe how some of you even can use the internet without working knowledge of the English language.
Questionably at best, it can, yeah, though a person usually sounds pretty illiterate when he uses it that way. In this case it makes no sense whatsoever to use. Can’t think of even a halfway decent way you’d use ‘them’ and mean something singular.
