He’s style reminds me of jamiroquai
You think? I’m not getting that at all. Jamiroquai is jazz…zzzzz…zy disco. This has a real mixture of styles.

I’m not usually one to gripe about tunes up here, as I very much appreciate this site, but if you’re thinking of grabbing this record please DON’T BOTHER. I was hoping for maybe a little Woon crossed with a mix of Lidell and some soulful bass music studio magic (albeit expecting just s bit of shmultz), but this here album really sounds like a, what should have been, forgotten Jamiroquai demo circa 1997. Yikes!
Ian, I completely agree with you. “Welcome to the best years of your life” was an amazing record, full of soul, deep pop, house and even one drum ‘n’ bass song. It all fit together and was one of my favourites at that time.
This album sounds as if he would want airtime on more popular radio stations. It is full of flat house, with a lot of r’n’b elements. I’m disappointed
