Hey James/Jake/Bill/David when I discover music online that I like I purchase vinyl records from that band, I pay to see shows and more importantly I introduce others to that music. I know that largescale music downloading is unsustainable but this is how people find new artists to enjoy in 2011 and the folks at Ambledown (or wherever your management exist) should know that. Yes college radio used to work well to bolster a couple hundred fans at a time, and other musos like myspace but you have to embrace this medium and work with it if reaching a global audience is a goal. The O.C. may have treated you well but that show got cancelled, don’t strive to be a coverband known for complaining on tastemaker websites.
