I BOUGHT See Birds EP so what is your point retard? I didn’t steal it from the artist and then claim to be a massive fan.
I own everything Triangle has put out on wax and have already pre-ordered the vinyl on this.. Don’t see anything wrong with downloading it before the release date.. I AM a huge fan and I’m catching the Triangle tour in SF this Friday.. I’m not sitting here hating on an album to try and sound progressive. You are obviously in the minority of people who think this is a mediocre release

Clams, Holy Other etc have a listening trajectory something like this…. 1st listen – sounds pretty enough, a few nice textures. 2nd listen – Well it is Tri Angle so I should keep listening. 3rd listen – well not much more to it than it sounds pretty enough with a few nice textures. 4th listen – If I’m honest its style over content, but its Tri Angle so I’ll convince myself it is of quality. 5th listen – skip it, not in the mood today. 6th listen – not this fucking hyped shit again leaving me undernourished like fast food.

Must have had the day from hell then if this mediocre offering improved it. Come the fuck on everyone! It is pretty good in parts but nothing special, the best track sounds like See Birds. Oh sorry it must be genius because he uses samples of hiss, static and water. yawn. He knows how to create an atmosphere and a bit of texture, big fucking deal. Musically it is dull and the ideas are derivative.

But this album… not really tasty at all for me.
5-6 minutes tracks with nothing inside, no emotion.

I couldn’t care less if it’s on Tri Angle – a label getting far too much attention but its a triangle so that’s cool- you fucking bandwagon label whores are the ones trying to act ‘progressive’. I checked this out after all the “hype” in the comments (read: arguing), and whilst i don’t think getting all adversarial gets the point across, i do agree with jim’s opinion on this CD. What the fuck are you all raving about? It is boring as fuck, and this is someone who appreciates a fair few drone albums.
The one good thing to come from discovering this, however, is that i am going to a house-party soon, and it’s fancy dress. I thought it would be quite funny to go as a homosexual, so i am now going to get this album artwork printed onto a t-shirt, wear some skinny jeans and maybe spike/side part my hair a little; hipster style. Should do the trick. I’ll be fighting the guys off.
