okay Shlohmo is super dope, love everything by him BUT doesn’t the falsetto, non-linguistic wimpering get a WEE bit repetitive on practically every track of this album?
a spirit of ressentiment pervades this album… on the surface it’s tropical, washed-out, jittery and playful but there is a deeper sense of regret, repression & melancholy.
sounds deep bro. d/l’ed.
