Wow very smart bad music 2/10 fuck you
The most uninteresting thing in the world is someone trying to be interesting. Footwork as a whole is almost entirely a very pretentious genre. While Jlin collects the jigsaw pieces of her sound and arranges them into a large canvas, Aroma is Ableton doodling that catches the sounds of Death Grips and Aphex twin in a large fishing net.
Bjork and Philip Glass appear to add more feet to the footwork, and the notable influence taken from marching bands is also present (Challenge). But does nothing more than play out as a nuisance eventually. It has it’s charm (Auset almost goes to the lengths this project should have gone entirely), it also presents a lot of “modern classical” downers (Summon, and Sodalite) and re-conextualized Pop that’s got a lot of caffeine infused into it.
For me, It was a squirt of perfume , Very intriguing, I wanted to sniff it
Sometimes; we think interesting stuff should have the same equalities as a penis. Just becayse this case is different, what does that say,
Fuck you too.

Nobody is attracted to your man, Beyoncé. But if a Jolene really were to swoop in and split up your relationship, she’d be doing you a favor! And for fuck’s sake, “raising” a man who’s 12 years older than you doesn’t make you a slay queen. It makes both you and him sound like losers.
Of course, this album is good. It’s well-executed for the most part, the vocals are strong, and it sounds better than most of today’s country pop. But why, oh why, is the press treating this album like it’s a masterpiece and a deep statement about society, just because it was made by Beyoncé? At this point, I’m convinced she could release a legitimately bad album, but the press would still fawn over it because they think it’s racist and sexist to approach Beyoncé’s music with anything but praise. As if she’s the only Black woman making good music. Someone needs to tell these journalists that what they’re doing isn’t woke, it’s tokenizing. But just to be fair, excessive poptimism and marketing are equally to blame for the Beyoncé hype.
Speaking of marketing, I’d like to focus on the song Levii’s Jeans for a moment. A few days ago, I was on a website dedicated to song lyrics, and the lyrics page for that track was sponsored by, you guessed it, Le-fucking-vi’s. The brand specification isn’t even relevant in that song; the lyrics are about wanting a man to touch her ass similarly to how jeans would. It’s a cleverly sexually suggestive concept, but it’s ruined by advertising. I can’t help but notice how this scenario differs from that one time a million years ago when obscure indie musician Momus made a sexual song about a completely different company, and almost got sued. The free market is cruel, the limitations of creative expression are cruel, so-called Western culture is cruel, the earth is round, and the sun is hot.
It’s still decent despite its corniness, but Cowboy Carter (wow, Azealia Banks was right about that being a poor album title) is nothing special.
Wow, strong reactions to this – I’ll have to check it lol – thx NOData as always bringing it
please, let me know if it is good or bad, cos i’m afraid to listen to bad music to avoid spoiling my musically well trained brains
Bless you! I am going to order a purple potato
The other guy said its bad so I think its good. Whatever is the opposite if the what the masses are going to say, the opposite should be my position, most if the time. In my view, the masses are not only the masses but any object with mass, So myself as well. It is us vs the masses, which is why i think this is good. Because otherwise fir that comment, i havent heard much inout on this. But he wrote it so beautiful, even with the beginning if a fuck you

I have really tried with Jlin but the music always goes nowhere or goes in a predictable and occasionally irritating way. Footwoek/juke was never originally made just for listening, being able to get down to it was all tht mattered.
Teklife crew & especially DJ Rashad were pushing the boundaries of what footwork could be, experimenting & incorporating other dance music styles whilst still sounding like footwork. There needs to be more of this cos when it’s good it’s really fkn good
