Nicolo may be at a legit quandary but the time fleeting while he reaches a conclusion will not come back.
What is wasted time? All time is well spent as there is no other way it could have been. Just because it doesn’t go towards your societal goals of success doesn’t mean they aren’t accomplishing something. Hopefully you won’t find yourself looking back at time with the same ironic disposition at your own condition.
