You’re back. :) Who does the artwork for the Africa HiTech releases? It’s a perfect visual analogue of the music: Psychedelic, polychromatic, futurist-primitive abstraction. What an amazing album this is – it’s a masterpiece. Thanks!
The artwork is by Andy Gilmore. He had a blog and flickr stream with beautiful work like that above but about a year or so ago he seemingly retired and since then closed his blog and flickr acct.
Although, some of his work can still be found here:

P.S. welcome back Nodata. Even though you’re here one day and the next you’re not, still love ya’.
Thanks, that is very helpful of you. I’m delighted to be introduced to this amazing artist. Seems like he’s not retired though, the Portfolio link from that page leads to very recently dated works.
Innovative > interesting > thanks nodata
glad to see you back!
…just searched a little more & noticed gang gang dance is gone-was this the reason for downtime!?
no, the reason for the downtime was (I’m guessing) they posted the newest, leaked Eddie Vedder album AND the newest, leaked Death Cab for Cutie album within about 20 minutes of each other. I bet they had lawyers all over their arses for the next 12 hours.
ÁNIMO SAM!!
stupid dinosaurs!
so glad you’re back!
So happy you’re back!!
Happy happy indeed! This is def the best blog on the internet. Long live nodata, you guys totally rock. Sending endless gratitude from South Africa.
Long live NODATA!

A triumphant return! Way to swing in on a high note, gang. Many cheers!
