Although I have often thought Jeff really is an alien, he is human after all, and think what it must be like to live in Jeff Mills head… How many demos has he been sent? How many records has he produced? How many years has he been Djing non-stop around the world? Jeff is a freak of nature, and anyone with a decent sized collection will confirm, it’s really not unusual to buy a record with a totally random & unrelated track on it released by accident.

Call me old-fashioned, I still think music should be an expression of your individuality – something you and only you would/could do… good or bad, but solely attributable to you… I mean, a lot of electronic music is by nature undistinguishable from one album to another as is…

agreed to canoli. even though his hard drive is probably full of tracks from the past decades, if he can’t distinguish his music from the of others, something is not right…
