Infinity is a symbol used in Tensor Calculus. The idea being that infinite space cannot be calculated. However, even finite space is incalculable (see Minos Paradox) severing the distance of an object by one half continuously leads to an infinite. Even though some Mathematicians are comfortable with the idea of a never ending space that cannot be calculated, Physicist are now claiming that the universe is finite, it’s just that it keeps expanding in sync with time, thus creating the illusion of infinite space. Stop, click time, and you can place a numerical value on the so called infinite.
