Hey guys, HYPE here to offer my opinion nobody asked for on the one recognizable artist in today’s free music dump: I think Venetian Snares could be a lot better. I mean…he IS the Canadian Aphex Twin and all, but…he could be better to my advanced, patrician ear. The long song titles are CLEARLY a way to compensate for his lack of goodness. Because he’s been so good in the past, VS is held to a higher standard than literally every other no-name artist on this site that releases an album of diarrhea sounds mixed with subways slowing down and interview clips of Mark Zuckerberg. Venetian Snares should take a tip from these REAL artists and try not to be so tryhard but should still try hard at not trying hard.
