The Meek shall inherit the world. It’s all yours Noel. The world with a few minor blemishes: mass migration, starvation, wars, climate change, guns, drought, new strains of antibiotic resistant viruses, overpopulation, new brutal weapons of mass destruction, greed, political divisiveness…etc.et.al…
The original meaning of the term for “meek” in the biblical verse you are referencing has a much different meaning than we are taught. The original untranslated Greek word “praus” is the one who has the virtue of the mean between two extremes. In other words, a well balanced individual. Totally changes the translation.
