This isn’t Fever Ray!

Might it be Sugar Ray?
I thought Julien Baker’s first album was excellent, made in three days in her dorm room, and quite personal. The songs here are more refined and produced but do not have the homespun feel of her first record. I would like to see her see the solemn moods of her songs without raising the pitch of her vocals and instruments half way through the song to a crescendo that seems formulaic and at time quite annoying, ruining the entire song.
