“After having studied all of the top five major cinematic pieces of Sandler in depth, the majority of my creative energy is spent referencing “Little Nicky”.

Nicky, the third of Satan’s sons, offers many possibilities for innovative oblique interlaced approaches to sound design, especially when using unorthodox beat patterns that retain their form and distortions when complete. In combining dumb, tasteless and grating beat patterns via a cassette player in fast forward mode I still strive to create warped songs of beauty and form that mimic Nicky’s character arc throughout the feature.

This is my first in an ongoing approach that attempts to create a direct sonic reference to the cinematic work of Adam Sandler.”
