With respect to music without vocals, it would be interesting to know what the process of selecting song titles would be and how it relates to the sound. With traditional song form with vocals, there is generally a connection between the lyrics and the title of the song (Par Example: The song title for Deep Purple’s “Smoke On The Water” the lyrics read: “smoke on the water, fire in the sky.” Repeat). Easy enough. So what goes through the Ambient, Electronic, Techno, musicians mind when they choose words that go to just sound. Are we supposed to be connected to this title and imagine its significance as the music plays?

The melodica version of The Lobbyst is poised to be the song for the next winter Olympics in PyeongChan or at least a televised sports event somewhere

Thanks A Famous DJ, good to know that these title are passed over as nothing more than markers for tracks, and nice to hear that they have some meaning. I would venture to say that most listeners never even look at the names of titles on records, even there most treasured artist.

People are just really shallow now, things meant more in the past. I worry for children growing up. And maybe that’s what this album is all about?
