I find it hard to get excited over a techno album, even from Robert Hood. Get back to making 12″
Techno is hear to stay. Deal with it.
bold… but fair
oops shit i meant to say that to bangthebox
I love techno, I just don’t think techno albums are any good as a rule.
Agreed. They tend to have a few awesome trax then the rest is ok… I can let it keep playing but I won’t remember the number, let alone the name or even how it went later.
“They tend to have a few awesome trax then the rest is ok…” Once again that word “awesome” comes creeping out of the fog of short term memory and serves as the main operative when any in-depth discussion of the music posted on N.D.T.V. commences. There must be another way.
How does any comment on this site qualify as in-depth discussion? I’ll take “yeah that song was awesome” over “THIS IS SHIT AND YOU’RE SHIT FOR LIKING IT” any day.
Agreed. While there’s probably never been a time where more interesting techno artists and releases being featured as today, techno is best served as 12″ EP’s and not full scale albums
They just become a tedium to listen to entirely. I like to do my own mixes with different sounding artists and some form of progression in the flow, but listening to the same sound for an albums worth and unmixed at that, just doesn’t work very well
OH WAO YOU DO YOU _OWN_ MIXES STFU IDIOT
I NEED YOU TO KNOW THAT DOING YOUR _OWN_ MIXES IS NOT SOMETHING SPECIAL AND I HAVE DONE MY _OWN_ MIXES AS WELL AND I PREFER TO HAVE MY _OWN_ MIXES ON OVER ANY OTHER DJS MIXES BECAUSE MY _OWN_ PLAYLISTS ARE THE ONLY SELECTIONS I CAN STAND. DONT BRAG ABOUT DOING YOUR _OWN_ MIXES OR YOU WILL BE TAKEN DOWN AS THE BASIC BITCH YOU ARE! IT’S NOT LIKE JUST ANYONE CAN ACCESS THIS SITE, WE (only me) ARE THE MUSIC MAKERS AND WE (not you, just me) ARE THE DREAMERS OF THE DREAMS
‘ Techno albums don’t work’ LOLZ I have never read such bollocks in all my life
That’s a bad rule lol
I was walking down Ptalamo Road when I heard a voice from on high: “Beware of non-techno releases masquerading as techno, be very wary”. After the initial shock, I took the words to heart. I will fight for the cause of techno. That is my mission and purpose.
thank u!!!
Hood on Dekmantal. ON IT
