It’s like someone took mediocre tracks, crumpled them up like paper, then tried to smooth it back out again.
Peculiar stuff indeed, but I think you have the process backwards…i.e. the artist smoothed the paper and then crumpled the mediocre tracks.
WooW !!! I’m not up to date with modern/contemporary records (my nickname should explain why) so the new album by El Mahdy Jr. is a great surprise …
It will be hard for him to match the emotional impact that his previous “The Spirit Of Fucked Up Places” had on me back when i listened to it ..but i love this musician and i hope it won’t let me down.
