You can hate on indie rock and whatever else gets thrown down that pigeon hole, but the Walkmen and Vampire Weekend are two of the most consistent and talented bands of the last 15 years.
Walkmen rock like Wilco’s younger and feistier brothers and Vampire Weekend channel Paul Simon like nobody has been able to do since.. Idunno, Sting?
