what’s the difference between abstract and experimental?
gosh is it you jolly?
I think ‘Experimental’ is the process the artist goes through exploring different musical modes (scales and harmonies that do or do not fit) whereas abstract is the end affect of the music. Par example, and experimental approach might lead to Rock Music or Jazz or Classical contemporary. Truth being, I have no idea what I am talking about.
