thank u!!!
Yesss!
I am pissed. I reached out for AM a long long time ago : Third Method was just out and First Method was selling for 30 euros … the real price was around 8/10 euros when it came out but there’s more… most of my mates into music, are also more or less into djing so basically i was the only one without First and Second Methods 12″s … Anyway i told them that i would love to own a collection of their works because lots of people not strictly into the techno business, liked their music.
A few months after that email, i start to notice an army of people (among my contacts) posting AM’s tracks … result? People into post-punk / industrial / post-industrial obviously love those songs but i noticed also punks, hc and … one metalhead ( i swear ) posted them or pics of their records in one of those “look at my new records” pics on FB.
SO why a SELECTION and not the whole discography? I hate cds (and this is a cd) but the whole discography would have fit a double cd release ..AND WHY LIMITED EDITION FOR THAT GERMAN FESTIVAL? Ltd editions in their case means obviously “in 6 months this cd will be worth 50 euros”…
oh yeah of course this message is for people who know that if you love music, you spend the effing money to feel the wax in your hands.
it’s better to own a record for the rest of your life than go to the club / drinks & fuel for your jaw clenching (oh well it’s better when you can do both)
congrats on making the most autistic series of comments I’ve seen on a release here
I don’t think so at all, in fact I may plagiarize it and attribute it (in dialogue form) to some lost punter that needs to find meaning in something and escape his otherwise dead-end existence in some obscure UK village. I do not understand why if you don’t have vynil and all that gear I shouldn’t be able to in part mimic the human response to sound information, like a modern-day replica.
Having said that, I find the comment to be informed and humorous, albeit showing social insecurities.
That’s what she said
