“I’m forever near a stereo saying, ‘What the fuck is this garbage?’ And the answer is always the Red Hot Chili Peppers.” – Nick Cave

    MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

Better than their last couple albums and more listenable than most of the major “indie” albums of the year…that James Blake album was so fucking horrible that I just can’t pretend shitty hip shit is good any more, I can’t do it, won’t do it.

Kiedis is the most unmusical being on Earth. A 2 year-old child is more creative, playful and inventive. Flea can’t get rid of him for whatever reasons, but this scheme has expired a while back. At least they’re not hiring songwriters, lyric writers, 50 producers, 200 musicians, etc., like beyonce or katy perry. Still, it’s uncanny how they can’t make one really good record and call it quits.

The Peppers are more relevant now than at any time during there momentous careers. Mediocre, at its best.

    • lol June 16, 2016

In a world of shit that sucks, the mediocre man is king.

    • reacher June 16, 2016

      acceptable in the early 90s?

  13. Mungo Berry-Jenkins June 16, 2016

30s of Flea killing his bass is more relevant than all of the dull mediocre electronic music that is here in nodata!

    Music ended in 1989!

      lame ass

Wow, 13 more versions of the only two fucking songs they’ve ever written (ie: uptempo funk ditty, downtempo sadsong about California).

    • lol June 16, 2016

Still better than the two songs Kanye West makes: sad song about how much it sucks to be rich. resentful song about how much he hates that last model he fucked, oh wait he does throw in a third kind of song as a bonus track on every album: jesus christ song (gotta get those protestant dollars!)

      • mute June 17, 2016

Well yeah, anything’s better than that talentless egomaniac fuckface. As much as I hate RHCP, they at least have some semblance of musicianship. Kanye is just completely devoid of talent.

        • lol June 18, 2016

Yeah, Kanye seems to get sued every album for ripping off some poor kid’s lyrics, so it was nice to see him actually pay to use a song this time, but cut and pasting that panda song into TLOP was a new low for creativity, yet the powers that be still tell us it’s a best new music we should all buy.

  16. wav June 18, 2016

Didn’t really care much for RHCP back in the 90’s and 00’s, as there was a lot of good music to listen to at that time. That all changed since all we get today is “electronic” crap and soporific shoegaze one-ep bands. Californication, I’m with You and The Gateway are cool sounds to relax to after a surf session and a cold beer.

    • lol June 18, 2016

Uh, and what about the four albums they released in the 80s?

      • wav June 18, 2016

Jane´s Addiction and Butthole Surfers were clearly ahead of the Peppers then. BSSM was the turning point, but Faith No More/Mr Bungle & Soundgarden still sounded better. Liked the covers (Stevie Wonder+ Sly and the Family). My 5 cent, though…
